For schools, orchestras and venues using Harmony stands in quantity, it provides a practical long-term storage solution while making setup and clearing away considerably easier.

Please note: This cart is designed specifically for Manhasset Harmony stands and is not compatible with Symphony, Orchestral, Director or other Manhasset stands using the traditional concert base.

No. The manufacturer states that the carts are not intended for outdoor use. They should be kept indoors and protected from rain and prolonged moisture.

The Model 1980 cart is designed to hold 15 horizontally stacking Harmony stands.

Choose the Model 1920 for up to 13 compatible stands and easier movement through smaller spaces. Choose the Model 1910 when storing a larger set of up to 25 stands.

The Model 1920 holds approximately 12 to 13 compatible concert stands, while the larger Model 1910 holds up to 25. The Model 1980 is specifically designed for 15 Harmony stands.

The standard carts are suitable for compatible Symphony, Tall Symphony, Orchestral, Director and Fourscore stands. Check before ordering if you use specialist bases or non-standard models.

A dedicated cart keeps stands organised, protects them while stored and allows a complete set to be moved efficiently between classrooms, rehearsal rooms and performance spaces.

Care and maintenance

Often, yes. Replacement parts are available for many models, and worn cosmetic finishes can sometimes be carefully prepared and refinished. Avoid altering working mechanisms in a way that could affect safety or warranty coverage.

Wipe the desk, shaft and base with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then dry them. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents and products that could damage the powder-coated finish or enter the clutch mechanism.

No. Do not apply oil or lubricant to the height-adjustment shaft, as this can reduce the holding power of the friction-grip clutch.

Check the carton and packing materials carefully, as small fixings can remain inside. Contact the supplying retailer promptly with the model and order details if anything is missing.

The tapered nut inside the shaft may have become unseated during transport. Fully compress the shaft, remove the base bolt, firmly tap the chrome end on a hard surface to reseat the nut, then reassemble and tighten the bolt.

Do not add lubricant to the outside of the shaft. Follow the model-specific troubleshooting instructions or contact Manhasset UK for guidance.

Selected models are available in a range of powder-coated colours, although UK availability varies. Custom colours may also be possible for larger projects, subject to quantity and lead time.

Standard Manhasset stands are robust but still manageable to carry between rooms. They are not designed to fold as small as a wire stand, so the Voyager with a foldable base, is the better choice for frequent travel.

Yes. Their stable bases, simple one-handed adjustment and robust construction make them particularly well suited to classrooms, rehearsal rooms, ensembles and music departments.

Most floor stands arrive in a 3 sections: The base, shaft, and desk, and require straightforward assembly. The necessary fixings are supplied, and model-specific instructions are available.

The shaft uses Manhasset's Magic Finger Clutch, allowing the desk to be raised or lowered with a simple push or pull. The friction-tilt neck holds the desk securely at the chosen angle without a separate tightening knob.

The standard shaft is designed to support approximately 3.6 kg. For heavier applications, the optional Shaft-Lock increases the supported load to around 11.3 kg.

Yes. A Manhasset is ideal for musicians who want a stable stand that can remain set up and hold books, folders and sheet music securely. The Symphony is usually the best home model.

Lifetime warranty

No. Under the manufacturer's current warranty, music stand carts are covered for 10 years and music accessories are generally covered for one year. Rechargeable LED lamps are also covered for one year, excluding normal battery-pack life.

Yes. Keep your order confirmation, invoice or receipt, as proof of purchase may be required to confirm the purchaser and purchase date.

Manhasset music stands purchased in 2012 or later are covered against defects in materials or workmanship for the lifetime of the original purchaser, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms.

Contact Manhasset UK or the retailer that supplied the product with your proof of purchase, model details and a clear description of the problem. Photos may be requested, and the product should not be returned until instructions have been provided.

It means the period during which the original purchaser continues to own the music stand. The warranty does not automatically transfer to a later owner.
