Manhasset Voyager portable music stands

The Voyager uses the same full-size solid aluminium desk as the Manhasset Symphony, giving musicians plenty of space for scores, folders and music books while keeping the stand portable. Its collapsible tripod base and twist-lock mechanism make the desk quick to detach, making the stand easier to transport between rehearsals, lessons and performances.

The Manhasset Voyager portable, collapsible music stand is the standard-height option in the range, while the Manhasset Voyager Concertino stand - box of 6 provides a lower playing height for seated musicians, including cellists, guitarists and younger players. For larger requirements, the Manhasset Voyager portable, collapsible music stand - box of 6 provides a matching set of standard-height stands.

Portable without compromising on desk size

Unlike many folding music stands, the Voyager does not use a small folding or wire desk. The solid aluminium desk measures approximately 51 x 31.75cm, providing the same generous working space as a Manhasset Symphony stand. This gives musicians plenty of room for larger scores, folders and music books while still allowing the stand to be broken down for transport.

Easy to transport and store

The Voyager's tripod base collapses into a compact shape, while the twist-lock mechanism allows the music desk to be detached quickly. The stands can then be moved between classrooms, rehearsal spaces and performance venues more easily than a conventional fixed-base concert stand.

This makes the Voyager particularly useful for touring musicians, teachers, schools, music services and ensembles that regularly need to move their equipment. A dedicated Voyager carrying bag is also available separately for additional protection during transport.

Knob-free height adjustment

The Voyager retains Manhasset's famous knob-free adjustment system, with the Magic Finger Clutch allowing the desk to be raised or lowered simply by moving it into position. The friction-tilt neck also makes it easy to adjust the desk angle without needing to loosen or tighten a knob.

Voyager or Symphony?

The Voyager and Manhasset Symphony stand share the same full-size solid aluminium desk and familiar Manhasset height and angle adjustment. The main difference is the base. Choose the Voyager when portability and compact storage are priorities, or the Symphony when a traditional concert music stand is intended to remain assembled.
